Paneer and Soya Patties Recipe | Soya Cutlets Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup nutrela soya chunks
  • 1 cup crumbled paneer
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp chopped or grated garlic
  • 1 tsp chopped or grated garlic
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp haldi/turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp chat masala or amchur masala (dry mango powder)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp break crumbs
  • 1/2 cup chopped coriander
  • Salt as desired
  • Oil for cooking

Method

  • Soak the soya chunks in hot water for around half hour. If you are using normal big size soya chunks and soaking in normal water, you may want to soak it longer.
  • Drain off the water, add some water to cover the soya and boil it either on gas or in the microwave. I prefer microwave as it gets done in 2 minutes.
  • Squeeze out all the water from soya and put the chunks to a food processor and mince it fine.
  • Remove it in a bowl, add crumbled paneer and all above ingredients except oil and mix well.
  • Feel free to add little more bread crumbs for the mixture to bind better if feels loose.
  • Shape these in a patty or cutlets.
  • Drizzle some oil in a non stick pan, and fry these patties till both sides are nice and crisp.
  • Once done, garish and serve with any dip of your choice.
  • Paneer & Soya Patties are ready, enjoy for breakfast over over a cup of evening tea or coffee
